Japanese Straightening

Japanese hair straightening is a chemical process that is renowned for its ability to turn curly or frizzy hair poker straight. I was nervous about what to ask for since I'm not used to getting haircuts with longer hair(in the past when my hair was too unmanageably long, I'd just opt to reset by chopping it all off). I grabbed a variety of pics I use for my own inspiration and Shawn was able to understand my vision and contribute his own expertise and experience and really get something personal to me. He asked about my own routine(products, styling, drying, etc) and was happy to give suggestions and advice. Marie Claire contributor Katherine J. Igoe first met Kimberly Cannon "approximately one million years ago" when she was first living in New York and needed an inexpensive highlight. "She somehow has given me the softest, lightest, most dimensional blonde of my life—and it grows out amazingly. She did my wedding highlights. That's how much I love her."

Should my hair be washed prior to my Japanese hair treatment?

With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, Wellington Hair Salon founder Patrick Wellington prides himself on techniques that are both personalized and flawless. Specializing in natural and textured hair, his objective is to create "hair that glows with inner health"—an excellent outlook for a colorist, as we all know bleach can wreak havoc on your precious strands. Specializing in color corrections, double processes, creative color, and free-hand painting, the artist built much of her business on transformations other colorists might peg as too "difficult." That can be overwhelming—especially if you live in New York City.

Best Blue Toners for Orange Hair: Pros, Cons & Tips

blue toner for orange hair

You can also try using a toner made specifically for orange hair. These toners typically contain a mix of purple and blue dye, which will help to neutralize any unwanted orange tones. For lightened brunettes and dark blondes, a blue toner for orange hair—namely, blue shampoo—will be your best friend. As you can probably imagine, blue shampoo contains cobalt-colored pigments that help offset orange and other copper-leaning tones.

Blue vs. Purple Shampoo

We were tired of being the last color virgin on Venice Beach, so we made a date with the salon. To give our long, light brown hair a look that would be both polished and beachy, our colorist suggested lightening just the middle and ends. She pulled over a coworker with a similar style to demonstrate, then graciously offered to order us lunch. She applied bleach from the bottom up (ends to jawline) and around our face, but didn't touch our roots. Forty-five minutes and one shampoo later, she applied a rinse over those same areas to turn them a honey hue.

What Is Blue Hair Toner

Depending on how bright your orange hair is, you will apply more or less blue toner to cancel it out completely. These top 11 toners are specifically designed to target yellow or orange tones in lightened blonde or highlighted brunette hair. To achieve optimal results, evenly apply blue toner to dampened orange hair. Utilize gentle heat or let it sit for a maximum of 20 minutes before rinsing out, resulting in a stunning ash blonde outcome.

Is the ash blue additive suitable for all hair types?

Another method for covering the orange tones left after a Color Oops treatment is to dye your hair a darker shade. Most dark hair color covers orange hair without any issues, as long as the colors are darker than the orange color. And because there’s no risk of over-depositing, it’s an ideal product to try if you’re not very experienced in toning orange hair with blue toners.

Ahead, our top picks for blue shampoos, hand-picked by celebrity colorists, ELLE editors, and rave reviews. You can consider using other hair care items in the brand’s line-up, such as conditioners or neutralizing toning hair masks, to achieve soft and moisturized hair. To ensure success with this process, make sure to choose high-quality products like Pravana Ash Blue Hair Corrector for optimal results without damaging your strands further. For optimal results, it’s best used with their Flash Lightning bleach kits, which will lighten the hair to level 9 or 10 platinum blonde before applying this toner. Opt for a weak developer with direct dyeing to reduce intensity. Incorporate an ash blue additive when going darker for more depth.

You’ll find out what blue toner is, how it works, and how to apply it for the best results, along with pros and cons of using this unique product. The toning shampoo can be used for every hair type, but it is specifically for hair that has been colored dark blond or light brunette.

When bleaching your hair doesn’t quite turn out the way you envisioned, orange or yellow-orange tones can be the unfortunate result. When this happens, it could make the hair’s warm undertones more noticeable, leading to a brassy appearance. It brings out the deep, cool hue of your brunette locks, whether you have naturally brown hair or highlights and lowlights. Here’s a vegan toner that will bring back the rich colors of your natural or color-treated brunette hair.

The formulas deeply replenish hydration and help keep hair color pure for up to four weeks. Considering Chan is the colorist for fair-haired beauties such as Heather Graham, we expected to kiss our light brown base good-bye. There, our colorist pronounced blonde hair was too ashy, and she spent the next hour and a half weaving in dozens of honeyed ribbons that made it sparkle. We left with radiant color that a pricier spot would have charged twice as much for. De Souza has a reputation for creating rich brunettes, such as Mila Kunis and Rachel Bilson. The beachy results added significant warmth and made our skin glow with health. Welcome to our FAQ section, where we answer your most common questions about fixing orange hair after using Color Oops.

Schwarzkopf Professional Blond Me Blonde Toning is an excellent all-round toner that works on orange tones in all shades of blonde hair. It adds a pastel blue hue to your hair and cancels out brassy tones, while the Bond Enforcing Technology leaves your hair shiny and soft. Use a color brush to apply your blue toner wherever you see orange brassy tones showing, which might be all over your hair or just on specific sections. Make sure you saturate your locks thoroughly with the toner mixture, then set a timer for the time your toner needs.

If your hair is prone to flyaways, this blue shampoo contains anti-static technology to keep hair in place. Stick around and we will tell you the best blue toner for orange hair. Leave it on for minutes before rinsing out thoroughly, then repeat if necessary!

Colorist Jack Martin Breaks Down a Gray Hair Color Transformation

Grabbing a 10- or 20-volume developer to bleach dark hair often results in an unwanted orange color. This is because the developer is too weak to lift dark hair to the desired light yellow color. This is why orange tones typically show up on lightened or highlighted brunette hair.

However, if you leave it on for too long, you might see a change of hair color, especially if your hair is light. The main reasons for hair turning orange are using bleach on naturally dark brunette hair or leaving a copper-blonde dye on for too long. If you use a weak developer on very dark hair, it can also struggle to lift enough color out of the strands to avoid orange tones. Many people say that Manic Panic Virgin Snow Hair Toner is one of the best blue toners for orange hair, and it’s easy to see why.

Here’s a look at the toning process a stylist would use so you’ll know what to expect. If you’re planning on doing your own toner, you can follow along with these instructions! Complementary colors (sometimes called opposite colors) actually cancel each other out when used together. No matter how many times you’ve successfully bleached your hair, there’s always a small chance for it to turn out brassy and orange. This way, you can ensure it won’t dry out, damage, or weaken your hair when you apply it, especially if you regularly use toner to maintain your color.

When applying any product, make sure it is saturated throughout and left on with gentle heat for the desired effect – no need to overdo it! To get started, you’ll need to understand color wheel basics and learn about toning tricks. Using an ash maintenance product will help maintain the desired tone after using your DIY blue toner.

This toner works well on orange tones, but the results on yellow tones can be unpredictable. A purple toner would be more effective if you have yellow hair. This often happens when a weak developer is used to lighten naturally dark brunette hair. A 10- or 20-volume developer will often struggle to lift the hair to the desired color, so it can look too orange. If your hair is very dark brown or black, even a 30- or 40-volume developer might still result in orange bleached hair.

It’s important to consider your hair type, the desired outcome, and the ease of use when choosing which form of toner is best for you. This shampoo even has ingredients like spirulina and juniper berries, which feed your hair vitamins and fatty acids. This mask will correct the color of your bleached locks and make it more radiant shortly after use.

To use the toner as a facial toner, simply apply it to your face after cleansing. "My clients with natural gray hair come two or three times a year, instead of every few weeks," Martin tells Allure. It's an appealing degree of flexibility, with the added bonus of letting you lean into your natural gray. Hollywood's old guard of producers' and directors' wives go to this quiet, secluded salon for Beverly Hills treatment. Penner's coloring style is more major studio than independent, so if you want fake white blonde, he might not be your man.

It’s formulated with blue malva, which helps balance the hair and scalp, and coneflower, which helps make hair color more vivid. ACV is mildly acidic that works to lower the pH level in dull hair and restore balance to your hair. Coconut oil acts to moisturize and nourish bleached and colored hair, avoid dryness and damage. However, it’s important to choose the correct level of intensity and apply it evenly for optimal results. With careful application, you can achieve your desired tone without causing damage to your hair.

This one is definitely one of the more potent blue toning shampoos and it does contain sulfates, which can dry out your hair. The biggest difference between using a toner and a blue shampoo is the ease of use. Toners have a much higher margin of error and should only be used by those who know what they are doing. The trick is not “getting rid” of the orange undertones, it’s figuring out how to neutralize them. Cool-toned color pigments are the first to be lifted out of your hair during the bleaching process. There are more warm color (red & orange) molecules than cool color molecules.

blue toner for orange hair

In theory, this should help to soften the hair color and give it a more natural look. As with any hair color, it’s important to test a small section of your hair before applying the toner all over. That way, you can be sure that the blue toner for orange hair will give you the results you’re hoping for. These formulas help neutralize brass, impart shine, brighten your color, and make your hair feel silky-soft. Professional glosses are ideal for those dealing with stubborn or severely brassy orange hair.

To maintain level 10 blonde tones or target brassiness in lighter levels of brunette hair, use purple shampoo as well. Before applying blue toners to orange hair, gently dampen or towel dry your locks for best results. Let the color of transformation take hold as you embark on a journey of beauty and renewal!

Put on some vinyl or latex gloves to protect your hands from getting stained. Mix the toner and developer in a color bowl with a color brush until they are thoroughly combined. Even the mildest formulations of toners can stain your hands and nails as they are highly pigmented.

Neutral Chucky – Cult of Chucky (

Chucky killed a few people while posing as Alice, but someone eventually fought back, presumably killing Alice. By this time, Chucky knows the spell to split his soul into multiple hosts, so even though Alice was killed, Charles Lee Ray lived on (in doll form). In the original Child’s Play film from 1988, Chucky has bright red, shoulder-length hair. This is because the doll that serial killer Charles Lee Ray’s soul inhabits is a “Good Guy” doll, a fictional brand of dolls meant to resemble a friendly, wholesome toy for children. Good Guy dolls were modeled after My Buddy dolls, a real-life toy line from the 1980s known for their brightly colored red hair.

The TV series Chucky also features the villain sporting his classic red locks. In fact, an entire shelf full of Chucky dolls waits to be awakened, each with that recognizable red yarn hair ready to come to life and wreak havoc. In 1986, Charles picked up a woman named Delilah and a red-headed woman from a nightclub and then brought them back to a hotel. The two women engaged in foreplay with Charles interrupting them by pulling the red-headed woman aside and holding a knife over her. To his surprise instead of being afraid, the woman instructed him to go through with it. Ray then chose to kill Delilah instead, stabbing her and passing the knife to the redhead to join in.

Andy finds his way downstairs into the operating room, as Chucky follows him. He manages to knock Andy to the ground, but hides when Dr. Ardmore comes into the room. While they struggle, Chucky grabs a scalpel and stabs Ardmore in the back of the leg. Once on the floor, he puts an electric shock helmet on him, and fries the doctor to death. During this time Andy runs back to his apartment, but Chucky is right on his trail. Once the 2 reach the apartment, he knocks Andy unconscious with a baseball bat and begins the chant.

As Dr. Foley returns to his office, he finds Nica strapped in a strait-jacket with the short-haired Chucky still on his desk after being delivered. He proceeds to put red high heels on Nica's feet, before again being knocked out by Chucky, who offers Nica a glass shard, but she refuses to kill him. Curse of Chucky was initially announced as a remake, so it makes sense that the Chucky doll in Curse would look very different from anything audiences had seen before. With its huge eyes and wide mouth, this Chucky is more of a baby-doll than any Good Guy doll that had come before. It’s a good look for the tone of the movie which is more about being creepy rather than funny, but it also doesn’t look a whole lot like the Chucky. That’s a problem since the character had been around for 25 years by that point. This look does set Chucky up to go through a sufficiently dramatic transformation by the end of the movie though, so it gets a few bonus points for that.

Also, as a bonus, below the doll ranking is a timeline of the various appearances of Charles Lee Ray (aka Chucky in human form). The Charles Lee Ray appearances aren’t ranked, because it feels weird to rank real people by their looks. Chucky, known as “The Lakeshore Strangler” in the Child’s Play horror series, is one of the most recognizable horror icons.

This Chucky was blasted in the face with a shotgun during the post-credits scene of the previous movie, and Andy has been torturing him in the time between Curse and Cult. This look also helps viewers forget that the stitched Chucky from Curse doesn’t really match the stitches seen in Bride and Seed. The second version of the Good Guys doll looks a bit more expressive than the first. All of Chucky’s facial features are slightly bigger and brighter in Child’s Play 2, giving this incarnation of the talking doll a friendlier appearance. Though it’s maybe not the definitive look for Chucky’s neutral face, it rests well on a solid middle ground that is nice enough to be cute, but also expressive enough to be creepy.

Nica watches the grave at night from the window, and just as the Chucky's hand bursts from the ground, the other Chucky comes behind Nica and injects her with a sedative. As Madeleine is in her room, her Chucky doll comes back to her and they embrace one last time. She asks him to murder her, to which he obliges and chokes her to death by shoving his arm down her throat.

She jumps back and falls on the floor, and with her cornered, Chucky stabs her in the eye. In the evening, Nica and Alice cook chilli for the guests, as Chucky watches. While they leave the room to set the table, Chucky secretly pours rat poison on one of the plates. At dinner time, Father Frank eats the poisoned chilli, causing him to feel disorientated. He decides to go home, but while driving back he loses control and dies in a traffic accident.

Chucky, who pretends to be innocent, is confronted by Jake and tries to persuade him that he is on his side. That evening, Junior and Jake overhear Logan and Bree debating whether or not they can even care for Jake, and Junior starts to worry that Jake might injure Lexy. As soon as Jake realizes Chucky is missing, he makes the decision to stay home rather than rushing to the party.

This caramel shade will beautifully contrast the darker color, adding a glowy tone to your skin tone. For many people, when they hear the name “Chucky,” this is the version of the character they think about. The scarred and stitched incarnation of the character lasted, in one form or another, through four movies spanning nearly 20 years. He first appeared this way in Bride of Chucky, stitched back together by his former girlfriend Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly).

While that doesn’t come up much among human voodoo practitioners, there are literally thousands of identical Good Guy dolls out there. Sure they’re a little “retro” at this point, but they’re out there. In a dramatic moment, it’s revealed that Chucky put on some makeup to hide his facial scars. He’s still the same killer doll that was put through an industrial fan and sewed back together. After killing most of his targets with brutal efficiency, things take a bad turn for Chucky when he sends himself to young Andy to finish what he started.

He grabs the bridal doll and a knife, then slowly walks over to Tiffany. He knocks her TV into her bathtub, electrocuting her to death, and then gains further revenge by transferring her soul in the bridal doll. However, it is back with his body, buried in the cemetery back in Hackensack.

Charles becomes obsessed with Sarah and wanting her for himself, drives up to Daniel one night and offers him a ride home. Sometime during this ride, Charles drowns him, making it look like an accident. He attends Daniel's funeral and proceeds to kidnap Sarah shortly after. At the next group therapy session as they discuss Angela's death, Madeleine comes in with her Chucky as Alice's Chucky doll is already on the couch. Nica becomes convinced that Alice's Chucky still contains the soul of Charles Lee Ray, and demands Dr. Foley to prove that it is just a doll.

Cool Chucky Homemade Toddler Costume

Chucky’s neutral face in Cult of Chucky looks a lot like the classic Good Guy doll design. It’s a little softer than the original, and it’s a little more like a baby than a toddler, but it’s still a very good design. Seeing this version of Chucky flip a middle finger towards Nica during the movie is also a great touch. So get a hold of some fake blood, maybe a few latex scars, a kitchen knife, and red spray for the hair. Make a “Good Guys” overall and you’re ready for some Halloween scaring. Around the same time tensions rose between Charles and Tiffany when Tiffany found out Chucky was killing people without her.

Nica has wriggled out of her restraints, and Chucky axes her in the knee. She manages to remove the ax from her leg, and with the blunt side, knocks Chucky's head clean off. He pushes her over the balcony, where she falls to the ground below.

Any complaints about stiff articulation go away when Chucky is burned alive towards the end of Child’s Play. A killer doll on its own is scary, but a killer doll slowly stalking you down a hallway while it is charred, melted, and still smoking is a terrifying sight. This look for Chucky doesn’t last long, but it absolutely makes a strong impression. It’s even more of a straightforward slasher than the 1988 original, and Chucky is seen having a lot more fun as a maniacal killer. The problem here, much like with Child’s Play 3, is with the facial articulation when Chucky comes to life. Chucky’s sneer looks fine in still images, but on-screen it can come across as overly cartoonish and stiff in some of the more extreme moments.

Meanwhile, the short-haired Chucky approaches Andy's door, and unlocks it with a keycard. Chucky rushes to grab the knife, allowing Andy to restrain him against the wall. He rips off the Chucky's overalls and digs into his stomach, retrieving a gun he hid inside. He shoots Chucky multiple times in the chest before finally stomping his head in. Just as he finishes, he turns around to see Nica, possessed by Chucky. As a woman on the PA announces that the facility is on lockdown, Chucky quickly closes the door on him, leaving with one last remark, "Tag, you're it pal".

For all you horror fans out there, these homemade Chucky costumes will have passersby freaking out. Detective Mike Norris and his partner Jack Santos are called in to investigate the death, and to question Andy. Norris suspects Andy may have something to do with it, as Andy's sneakers are the closest match to the footprints in the sugar. Karen comes home as they are talking with Andy, and angrily makes them leave. Once the police are gone, she goes to check on her son, and sees him talking to his Good Guy doll.

Slowly walking down the hall, he stops in front of Angela's room as she comes out of the door. He becomes frustrated when she believes he is just a hallucination, and announces that "she's next" as he walks away. Entering Nica's room, he notices that one of the spokes on her wheelchair had been torn out, which she used to slit her wrists to commit suicide.

A few hours later, the school is getting ready for their annual paint ball war game, with the students split into red and blue teams. Chucky steals the red team's rifles, and replaces the paint pellets with live ammunition. He reveals his true intentions to the boy, who out of fear stabs the doll and runs back to the game. To get Tyler back, he captures Andy's girlfriend Kristen, and using the radio, tells Andy to bring him Tyler or he'll murder Kristen. During this time, he also shouts insults at both teams in order to get them to start shooting at each other.

Surprisingly, Ivanka Trump was one of the first celebrities to debut the look earlier this year, and she was quickly followed by Jennifer Lopez. Marilyn Monroe's home granted temporary stay from demolition Los Angeles Times

marilyn monroe's house

In late 1950, Monroe signed a new contract under 20th Century Fox and quickly rose to stardom in the next two years. Emily St. Martin is a former entertainment reporter on the Fast Break Desk. Before joining the Los Angeles Times, she contributed to the New York Times, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, NBC, Vice, Los Angeles Magazine and the Southern California News Group. St. Martin has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of La Verne and a master’s in creative nonfiction from UC Riverside. Many Angelenos weighed in on the matter during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Marilyn Monroe look-alike is mistakenly blamed as icon’s home faces demolition; Brentwood hopes to save it

While never a first choice, the Conservancy appreciates this consideration and believes HCM designation can not only allow for possible relocation but also help guide it appropriately. Good news, on March 5th, at the City of Los Angeles Planned Land Use and Management Meeting (PLUM), the Marilyn Monroe Residence cleared yet another hurdle on its journey toward Historic-Cultural Monument (HCM) designation. That famous house was sold in 2017 to an LLC called Glory of the Snow for $7.25 million; in July, it was sold to the similarly named Glory of the Snow Trust for $8.35 million, the LAT reports. Ms. Jordan said the community group was supposed to receive notice of demolition permits in Brentwood that are under review, but that never happened. Six months after she moved in, Ms. Monroe died of a drug overdose in her bedroom. The Los Angeles City Council has saved the actress’s Brentwood home from demolition — temporarily.

The reporter who interviewed Monroe at the time was given a tour of the residence and complimented it. “Maybe they’ll want to live here where they won’t be bothered ‘til things are okay for them,” the actress said at the time. During Park’s press conference, she voiced the importance of fighting demolition of the only home the “Some Like It Hot” actor ever owned. During the spring that Marilyn Monroe spent within her cherished home, she infused it with her unique style and spirit. This period also coincided with her involvement in the film “Something’s Got to Give,” where she delivered a sultry rendition of “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy.

How Marilyn Monroe’s House Became Her ‘Fortress’ – and Her Place of Death

Glory of the Snow LLC purchased the home in 2017 for $7.25 million, according to The Real Deal, before a trust of the same name bought it for $8.35 million in July 2023. Monroe told Life that the guest house would be "a place for any friends of mine who are in some kind of trouble, you know, and maybe they'll want to live here where they won't be bothered till things are OK for them." Marilyn Monroe told a Life magazine reporter who visited her Brentwood home in 1962, "Anybody who likes my house, I'm sure I'll get along with."

While fame ripped away a large portion of Monroe’s privacy and alienated her from society, her home was the one place she could be herself. She deeply valued having her own space away from the eyes of the world. In an interview with LIFE Magazine shortly before her death, Marilyn refused the photographer to take pictures of her home. “I don’t want everybody to see exactly where I live, what my sofa or my fireplace looks like,” she explained.

The group has found historical significance in the house well before the blonde bombshell's tenure. Built in 1929, the 2,900-square-foot hacienda was the first and only residence Ms. Monroe owned on her own. She bought the house for $75,000 after her divorce from the playwright Arthur Miller. The couple also spent time at Miller’s 1769 Revolutionary War–era clapboard farmhouse on 350 acres in Roxbury, Connecticut. The pair thought about knocking down the four-bedroom house that Miller bought in 1949 after writing Death of a Salesman, and replacing it with a new design Monroe had commissioned from Frank Lloyd Wright. But Miller didn’t like the famed architect’s plan and didn’t want to take on a gut renovation.

Marilyn Monroe’s Brentwood House Saved From Demolition After Public Outcry

In September 2023, a Change.org petition circulated on the internet, asking the city of Los Angeles to turn the house into a museum. The neighbors sought to have the property listed as a historical site. City Councilmember Traci Park on September 8, 2023, handed the motion to the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission. The motion was unanimously approved and the CHC has 75 days to make a decision. The hacienda-style house, a common style in the houses during Old Hollywood, has only one floor. It sits on 2,900 square feet of property at the end of a cul-de-sac off Carmelina Avenue.

On August 5, 1962, Marilyn Monroe was found dead inside the bedroom of her LA home. The actress was face down on the bed, gripping a telephone in one hand. They were prescribed by her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson, to treat Monroe’s depression. On January 18, the City’s Cultural Heritage Commission (CHC) recommended approval for the Marilyn Monroe Residence Historic-Cultural Monument (HCM). It headed to the City Council, first to the Planning and Land Use Management (PLUM) Committee, and then to the full City Council for a final vote. The Conservancy greatly thanks Heather Goers, who prepared the HCM nomination on behalf of the City.

Marilyn Monroe’s House: A Tale of Glamour, Mystery, and Preservation

A year after her death, it passed into the hands of a married couple, Gilbert and Betty J. Nunez, who also took possession of many of the personal belongings accumulated by the actress, which they auctioned decades later. “Unfortunately, the department of building and safety issued a demolition permit before my team and I could fully intervene and get this issue resolved,” Park said at a news conference last week, adding that there was a need for “urgent action”. The four-bedroom, four-bath home has been sold several times in the five decades since Monroe's death, most recently in 2010), but the style and feel of the property remains largely unchanged, real estate agent Lisa Optican tells Vanity Fair. "There have been owners in the past who have made changes to the property but the overall feeling and aesthetic and vibe of what attracted Marilyn to it is still there and you can feel it," Optican says.

"Every owner who has called this property home has been drawn to the same character," Optican says. "The property is romantic, intimate and private, yet is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The home has a sense of peace and calm that is often hard to find in Los Angeles." Monroe reportedly paid between $67,000 and $90,000 for it in 1962, shortly after divorcing her third husband, Arthur Miller. When Monroe’s housekeeper walked by her room in the early hours of August 5th and found the actress’s light still on, she tried to get inside the room to check on her. Finding the door locked, the housekeeper eventually called Dr. Greenson who gained entry into the room by breaking a window – only to find his patient unresponsive.

From the time of the initiation, the Cultural Heritage Commission has 75 days to review the nomination and make a recommendation to the City Council. Councilmember Traci Park was rushing against the clock to save Monroe’s final residence after learning Wednesday that the owner, Glory of the Snow Trust, had requested a permit to have the iconic Spanish Colonial residence demolished. With its unassuming charm, Marilyn Monroe’s residence was a Mexican-style gem boasting eight rooms.
